I am a college student attending the Art Academy of Cincinnati. I am currently taking a taxidermy internship. Jeremy Johnson is my teacher so if you haven't heard of him you should check out his website titled "meddling with nature". I am most interested in sculptural art. I enjoy the 3D aspect of sculpture; The idea of an image from my head transforming into a concrete work has always been a sublime concept to me.
I have a fascination with nature and the way evolution has molded plants and animals to have defenses and abilities that we humans lack. I plan on learning all there is to know about animals to strengthen my abilities.
Hybrids and mutations are things I love learning about whether they're scientifically certified or simply myths. I hope there are plenty of others who express the same outlook on art as I.
